Morrissey & Company Hires Director, Promotes Staffer to Senior Director of Media Relations

Morrissey & Company, a national reputation management and public relations firm based in Boston, Mass., has hired Lauren DiGeronimo as a director to add to its healthcare, finance, corporate and technology expertise. The agency has also promoted veteran staffer Margaret Brady to senior director of media relations.DiGeronimo brings ten years of communications and public relations experience in the healthcare, consumer product and nonprofit sectors to her role at Morrissey & Company. In her previous position as an account supervisor at Nuffer, Smith, Tucker Public Relations in San Diego, DiGeronimo managed strategic planning and implementation of award-winning programs for clients such as McDonald’s of San Diego County and Ronald McDonald House Charities, CyberKnife Centers/Radiation Medical Group, San Diego County Medical Society, Project Concern International, 1st Pacific Bank and others. Previously, she implemented public relations programs for Middleton & Gendron Public Relations in New York, NY and Ruder Finn Public Relations in Washington, D.C.

Brady, who has been promoted from director to senior director of media relations, joined Morrissey & Company in 2000 with an extensive background working with technology sector clients such as Motorola, Inc. Her current clients include Covidien, a global healthcare products company that creates innovative medical solutions for better patient outcomes with North American headquarters in Boston, Mass; and Jabra, the world's leading and fastest growing supplier of hands-free communications solutions. Brady recently won the Bulldog Reporter Bulldog Award for Excellence in Media Relations and Publicity for her work with Lewis Goren Pugh, best known for becoming the first person to undertake a long distance swim at the North Pole.
