About Peter Morrissey

Reputation Excellence blogger Peter Morrissey is President and CEO of Morrissey & Company, a Boston-based reputation management and public relations firm founded in February 1999. With over 25 years of experience in public relations, Peter knows the importance of creating, preserving and advancing excellent corporate reputations in both the in-person and cyber realms.

Peter serves as a partner of Pinnacle Worldwide, the international consortium of independent public relations agencies. Peter is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America. Active in the business community, he serves on the board of the Boston Chamber of Commerce and is chairman of the board of Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries in Boston, and on the board of governors for the Boston Athletic Association (sponsors of the BAA Boston Marathon).

He received his bachelor's degree in communications/public relations from the Boston University College of Communication where he is now an associate professor, lecturing on reputation management and other PR topics.
